Family disputes

Taking family related issues to the court is the order of the day.In the olden days the family issues were settled in the family itself.Marriage, unlike other relationships entails a lot of commitment and sacrifice.It is true that each couple has a distinct style and character.In order to maintain a balance ,adjustment between the couple assumes importance.Short sighted acts of taking family matters to court has not only led to a deterioration in the family structure but also overburdened the judiciary with a huge backlog of cases due to lesser number of courts to deal with those cases.The bill to make irretrievable breakdown of marriage,a ground for divorce has struck the parliament for months.If family issues are exaggerated and brought out of the four walls of the house;it would soon cause a social stigma with long lasting consequence.So we should think about our children;they have the right to parentage,before taking a decision to separate.

Currupted governance

it is true that nobody will question the integrity of our prime minister.But unfortunately he is not in a position to deliver the goods as he promised.The UPA Govt is nothing but a premature baby born out of the marriage of convenience between the partners belonging to different political parties.It is almost impossible to hold one particular person responsible for the series of scams like 2g spectrum,Adarsh housing scam,and inappropriation of public money on Commonwealth games etc.Removing Chavan over the housing scam or dropping Raja from the cabinet is not suffice enough but only an eye wash.Until and unless the root cause for this malaise is treated ,it will continue to grow like a monster.Mr Kabil sibil,s remark that the prime minister would have been justified if he had thrown Mr Subramania swamy,s letter seeking sanction for prosecuting the former telecom minister in to the waste basket is nothing but a disrespect for the common man's voice in a world's biggest democracy.
